Maison d architecte Bruges/piscine chauffée/Tram D

Super accueil par Béatrice, la maison est telle qu’annoncée sur les photos et après une matinée de shopping dans Bordeaux et un bon resto quel plaisir de profiter de la piscine . Merci 🙏🏽

The house was fantastic, and the host was wonderful. We loved the pool, and the house layout. We didn't even use the upstairs area but it was there for a kids playroom if we wanted. Kitchen is nice but the stove is an induction and it was finicky to say the least. We got it to work every time but sometimes it took several minutes to get it initiated by resetting it over and over. Minor issue to be sure. Otherwise everything else was ideal. The location is perfect being just 15 minutes from the airport and a 2 minute walk to the tram station that takes you into the city center in about 10 minutes. The property is located between a LIDL small grocers and large Leclerc grocery and department store with both being less than a 5 minute walk. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There were only two things that went wrong for us and neither of which were the fault of the property so I don't let that factor into the review apart from making comfort a 9 instead of a 10. First, unfortunately due to a massive heat wave a couple of days before our arrival, the AC circuit board fried so we had no AC for our trip as the part was on order. Thankfully the temps dropped a bit so it was not unbearable. The only problem was that in Bordeaux there are a lot of mosquitos so we could not cool the house in the evening by leaving windows open. It was only a factor for the first two nights as the rest of the trip the temps outdoor were cooler and we kept the house shuttered through the day to minimize the heat inside. We also went to Leclerc and bought several anti mosquito devices for indoors and outdoors. You know a city has mosquito issues when you see 5 or 6 separate anti mosquito product displays throughout a single store. I mean it was crazy, every corner had one. So, that's it. Again, not a fault with the property, just a word of advice to those going there to be prepared to deal with the skitters.

C'est une très belle maison contemporaine, décorée avec goût et équipée avec du matériel de grande qualité. La station de tram très proche de la maison permet de se rendre très facilement au centre de Bordeaux.
