Agathi Cottage

Keys were in door as instructed but we weren’t told about accessing the door through the gate which we initially thought was locked. Required phone call to sort out. There was no lock just a sliding mechanism. Pity we weren’t told that in in our property guidelines.

Road access quite tight - car definitely required

Lovely location, peaceful setting, parking for hire car, walkable distance to local amenities and beaches.

Since the property has changed to Agni travel we now never see the owner, the property doesn't appear to be as well kept. The catch on the screen on the front door is broken along with the glass jug on the filter coffee jug, the clothes airer stand is now rusted through and broken, although still usable, but there is nobody to report these things to. On arrival the property wasn't spotlessly clean, taps in the bathroom and around the shower were grubby. TV hand sets are very grubby, although we dont use the TV. The cleaner is however very friendly and comes regularly, providing you with items like toilet rolls when asked. A barbecue is advertised but this isn't available at this property it's communal and located adjacent to three other cottages that unless you have stayed at the property before you would not find and no instructions are given, also seasonal barbeque bans can be in force during May to October. Fire and emergency information still asks you to contact Dandelion Villas and they no longer manage this property. We wouldn't normally give these negative comments but feel it is the only way to let the property owner know there are these issues.

Wi-Fi wasn't working on arrival but was sorted out promptly on advising the host No beach towels ? (advertised on a beach villas site) - all other Paxos accommodation provided towels? An outdoor umbrella would be most welcome as there is not much protection in the heat of the day
