Great location for us (visiting family) in The Greens, a lovely residential area. Clean, safe and very comfortable with modern furnishings and fittings. The office staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location

The location of this apartment is excellent and very convenient for getting around Dubai. I actually lived in this same building when I first moved to Dubai in 2010, and interestingly, very little has changed in the building since then. The apartment itself is fine and reasonably equipped for cooking, with plenty of utensils provided. However, the attention to detail was lacking in areas that really matter for comfort. The air conditioning left a noticeable mouldy smell in the apartment, which made the stay less pleasant. While there were plenty of cooking utensils, there were no basic cleaning supplies such as cloths or sponges, and although there is a dishwasher, no dishwasher tablets were provided. I also asked the property management company about the possibility of a slightly later check-out (12 noon) as I was running the Dubai Marathon that morning. Unfortunately, I was told that check-out was strictly 11am, with no flexibility. This was disappointing, particularly as I have stayed at another Airbnb in the same area where the host was very accommodating — allowing both early check-in, late check-out, and free luggage storage. For me, small details and gestures of kindness go a long way in creating a positive guest experience. In my experience, these touches are often more noticeable when staying with independent homeowners rather than larger property management companies like Guest Ready. And honestly, when my husband comments that a place “isn’t great,” you know it really hasn’t hit the mark.
