The beds are well spaced apart (the rooms have 4 or 8 beds) so that the possibility of disturbing or being disturbed by others is greatly reduced, for this reason this hostel was my favorite hostel in Pattaya. In addition, access to the upper beds was very easy. I saw some not-so-positive reviews about cleanliness, I can say that the rooms were decent. I can confirm that the bathroom really seemed not to be cleaned for days. I stayed for several days, the first time I made a reservation through booking, then I paid at the reception, the person there said that he would give me a 5% discount if I book directly through them. The good part was that they had 4 bathrooms per floor for a room of 4, one of 8 and one private, so they were less crowded and you had time to wash the floor with the hose and unclog the drain in case it was clogged from the previous guests. And the fact that they didn't have soap and toilet paper again doesn't seem like a big inconvenience to me, they are relatively cheap things that almost anyone can buy and have with them. More important to me is the room so that you can have a good night's sleep. It's true that there was no locker with a key available in my room (some were occupied, others were missing the locking device) when I arrived, but the receptionist was kind and made one available to me in a room on another floor. That wasn't a big inconvenience either, I was moving around twice a day, and the people in the other room didn't seem to look suspiciously at me for always showing up there. The hostel is located a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach, and in there are shops and restaurants with decent prices. And the staff is extremely smiling, even much more smiling than is the case, and this motivated me to write this rich review.
The first unpleasant part I encountered after I made the reservation: through the booking messaging I was informed that for check-in after 6:00PM a fee of 100thb must be paid because someone has to go to the hostel to receive them. When I got there and saw that they were no longer the same owners I knew and I thought I would do them a favor if I told them that they set check-in until 23:00, but I am there until 6pm, the receptionist gave me to understand that it is not my job, someone can come if necessary after 6pm for 100thb. I studied the reviews, I see that many said that they managed to contact them with difficulty, but I did not read that they paid. I think they were told "go to bed X in room Y" and people were happy that they did not pay the additional 100thb. I think I can understand why this hostel dropped very quickly from almost a 9 to its current rating after changing owners. It seems like a certain neglect: they don't put water in the dispenser anymore, the fridge smells (I know I put a bottle of water in, but I took it out right after). I'm not sure if they used to provide towels, but now they definitely charge for them. The late check-in part, the lack of a locker key when the receptionists aren't around to collect the deposit fee for it, creating a feeling of insecurity when anyone can access the rooms, combined with the cleanliness of the bathroom, the additional costs related to accessibility (it's slightly isolated, maybe the direct distance may seem short to some access points, but the roads are winding up and down a hill, and the Songthaews don't go nearby) make the latest reviews most likely somewhere between a 6 and a 7. But I was satisfied, even with these inconveniences.
