We loved our stay here. The view from our room was amazing with basic amenities, the location is brilliant if you want to do the walk to Mount Bromo / see the sunrise by yourself. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the restaurant and shops. The hosts were lovely and welcoming and we also really appreciated the snacks we were given. They helped arrange a taxi for us to get from the train station to the accommodation which was a member of their family. My favourite part is being able to sit outside the room and watch the village life go by. We can not recommend this place enough.

As it’s in the mountains it gets chilly at night. Luckily we had warm clothing but an extra blanket would have been nice.

Petite chambre d’hôte centrale bénéficiant d’une jolie vue. L’emplacement est pratique pour aller au cratère et sur le chemin de la route vers le point de vue au lever du soleil. À deux pas des commerces et restaurants du village. On nous a apporté tout le nécessaire de toilette et une bouilloire avec des tasses pour le café du matin. Il y avait deux couvertures, heureusement ! Nous avons loué des doudounes au village pour la montée dans la nuit vers le point de vue de King Kong Hill.

Lit pas très confortable et douche défectueuse.

Nous y avons séjourné 1 nuit. L’hôte nous a contacté en amont pour savoir vers quelle heure on arriverait pour nous remettre les clés. L’emplacement est central pour les warung et restau et parfait pour aller faire le lever de soleil au Bromo. Bien que la chambre soit simple il y a tout le nécessaire: le lit est confortable, les draps étaient propres et il y a de l’eau chaude. Serviettes et papier toilette à dispo, ainsi que produits d’hygiène. De plus, le homestay est légèrement en retrait de la route donc confort sonore.

once we arrived on site, a very nervous gentleman told us that the structure is "temporarily" closed and annoyed took us to another homestay we had booked and paid in advance but he seemed surprised to see us! then we had to wait (in the cold) for them to arrange a place for us: not a nice way to do
