Only, reception Sandi - need to work on her client care. Regular clients & 1st time new clients.

No breakfast. Only complimentary coffee. Walked to Engen garage, cafe 365 but not halal but bought other eats. Enjoyed our eats. Didn't use micro. nor TV. Only used the fan, a good help. Weather, very hot. Enjoyed having cigarette in the yard. Even emptied ashtray & other litter into big bin in yard. Remote for gate, in good working order.

Attitude of Sandie, the reception. 1 minute good & in a second cheeky & loud. My wife, a light sleeper, dogs from area, loud. Loud talking one morning in yard, woke us up early, I'm assuming next door room, reception (actually don't know & didn't complain). While my wife having a bath, shower curtain fell down, I lifted it up. Was loosely fitted on wall. Front, sliding aluminium glass door, we had to figure out how to open, close & lock it. We didn't want any one to come in while we not there or sleeping & preferred closing window. Didn't want resident or stray cat jumping in. Had to be very vigilant in Cape town. Not my turf. I'm a Jozi man, born & brought up & love my town, never mind what. At no. 1 guest house, every body we came into contact with, even if it was, only a nod, with the head or hand were very friendly!

Fairly comfortable

The location and it's proximity to my place of interest.

The iron had a black sticky staff and nearly burned my clothes. Wardrobe and desk were in poor conditions. The blinds were not closing properly allowing the street lights in and causing a lot of disturbance especially in the night.

Great value for money!!!

It was a seamless process to check in and out. The room was clean and tidy. Linen white and clean. Amenities were available, iron and ironing board in room. Bar fridge and microwave also available which was much appreciated. Cutlery and plates available but you will have to bring a knife as I didn't see one. The hostess Sandie is wonderful, great personality, always ready to assist and does not disturb tenants. Also, you get your own entrance to your room and don't have to be in a "house-like" setting with passages. Remote controlled access to yard. All in all, good value for money. Try it to believe it!

Good for the price, but I wouldn't book again.

Location, it's closer to the shops and kfc ,walkable distance. The fridge was super clean. The housekeeper was always around to assist.

I had no one attending me when I checked in. WiFi was slow and disconnected many times. The bed sheets and pillow cases were not clean.The bed was not comfortable to sleep in. The towel rail is broken. Only had one bedside table in the room and the table was not clean .There was no sanitary bin in the bathroom, and I was on my period. There are no charging points by the bedside or extensions , had to charge my phone by the TV and fridge side, which was far from the bed, so I couldn't use it while it was charging.

Clean and well taken care off, besides the street being unsafe as there were junkies roaming around.

Dustin wasn’t empty Water while we checked in was cold and we couldn’t shower. Internet was poor and couldn’t watch television as the WiFi connection couldn’t connect to the tv.
