Villa de Mer Bali

Fantastic location for our family of 5. Loved everything about this villa. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Enough space that the 5 of us never felt in each other’s pocket. Staff are very helpful and prompt when need anything and the WhatsApp contact is very quick to respond. Great couple of supermarkets just over the road and a lovely coffee shop. Could walk easily to Legian food court also.

Could use some tea towels for drying up after your dishes are washed and maybe a bit more outdoor seating or lounges.

Being a family of 4 with 2 young children, the villa was perfect having 3 bedrooms, a living room & kitchen. All bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The staff were so amazing and attentive to all our needs. Couldn’t fault them. It was very handy having Papaya and another large supermarket very close by and a beautiful cafe with great coffee and food.

Sadly, it wasn’t a great location with little kids as we couldn’t walk to anywhere significant and had to catch Gojek everywhere. The villa is very noisy, especially at night with very loud road noise. It kept waking us up overnight. The worst part was that there were rubbish trucks dumping rubbish in the empty land directly behind our villa. It had a bad smell and the excavator was working most of the day burying the rubbish. It left a film of dirt on our villa pool which put us off using it. There was also a building site next door.
