Great location and unit but cleaning requirements are excessive with cleaning fee.

The location is great for easy Silver Dollar City access. The unit is close to the neighborhood pool and playground. The interior was so clean and very updated. Beds were comfy.

The property charges a $100 cleaning fee but also required that we strip the beds, start towel laundry, start the dishwasher, and take out the trash to a dumpster that isn't close. For a one-night stay, that's a large cleaning fee and a significant ask of the customer. The cleaning requirements were not disclosed prior to booking. I think hosts assume that these tasks aren't a big deal, but if you're trying to get two little kids ready to go in the morning, it's a hassle that is a deciding factor where I stay. These requirements need to be disclosed prior to booking, especially if there is a cleaning fee. Also, the bedrooms desperately need light-blocking window treatments rather than sheer curtains or slat blinds.
