Pooks Rest

It was clean tidy and just like the photos …. Comfortable bed and outdoor chairs so good. We had everything we needed. The view was calming and relaxing and loved the sheep coming home to bed.

The only criticism was that a bbq is provided but no coals so had to go and buy.

A beautiful Shepherds hut located overlooking fields with free roaming sheep and wild rabbits. Everything you needed was catered for. Continental breakfast consisted of cereal, fresh yoghurt, fruit and orange juice as well as sourdough and eggs. Fabulous

A very relaxing stay in cute, yet well equipped, accommodation. Pook’s Rest has everything you need from the beautiful views and comfortable outdoor space to a cosy and very clean interior complete with shower room, kitchen and even a little wood burning stove for those chillier evenings. The lovely owners made sure we were happy with everything whilst still giving us our privacy. Highly recommended! We would certainly visit again.

Nothing not to like. The perfect relaxing getaway.

What a wonderful place. The hosts have thought of everything. The location is stunning, step outside the hut for views of fields and vineyards, and even though you're not far from a busy road, all you can hear are the birds and sheep. Everything was spotless and thoughtful from the comfortable bed to the flowers on the wood burner. You can't help but relax.

That we couldn't stay longer. (And we were forgiven for accidentally breaking a glass, thank you again!)
