Dougs Dune Destination

The location was prime for the reason we came to the area, until the venue changed, LOL. Other than that, the location to beach access, main thoroughfares and entertainment were golden. The property also gave just the right amount of space for the 4 adults and two kids. The kids loved being able to have the loft space as their room with their own bathroom. The balcony was cool, especially being able to see all the turtles, ducks, and geese. The kids enjoyed giving them bread in the morning.

The only thing that could have made it better is being able to have access to some of the property facilities (the kiddie pool and indoor/outdoor pool). While my buddy and I were off playing in a tournament, we were hoping that the girlfriends and kids would have been able to have access to those amenities instead of having to go to the beach, especially when it was SUPER HOT for s couple of the days. We understood why we couldn't get access, but it would be cool for an additional add-on price.

The villa was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family during my daughter's national cheer competition. The three bedrooms and three full bathrooms gave everyone plenty of room, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. One of my favorite features was the deck overlooking Turtle Pond—it was so relaxing to sit outside and watch all of the turtles and ducks. The staff was also excellent. Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, they responded quickly and addressed everything without hesitation.

The only downside was that guests staying in the villa don't have access to the pools or arcade areas located on the property. I overlooked that detail when booking, so that was my mistake, but it was disappointing having to explain to my 8-year-old that we couldn't use the pools even though they were right there.
