Hiška pri Vrjaku

Lovely location at the end of a road into the hills, with views across meadows and forests to mountains beyond. Comfortable beds. Our host guided us from a nearby village to the property as it is quite a complicated place to find. Despite the langauge barrier we found the host friendly and he showed us round the property. Good range of crockery, pans, etc. in the kitchen.

The house needed a better clean before our arrival. Interior is very dated, and some of the furniture made it feel a bit cluttered. Kitchen tools/cutlery were basic. We don't want to be overly critical as the spirit of the place was good and the owner sincere but a general freshening up would raise the score! The property wasn't cheap fo Slovenia but it was good value for the Julian Alps area.
