Casa Galapagos

It is difficult to express our gratitude enough to Dario & Priscilla for the most wonderful stay at Casa Galapagos. We have been fortunate to travel to many countries in the world, but we have never experienced such beautiful hospitality & attention to the small details that clearly seek to make everything so easy for guests. We truly feel that we have found a home away from home. Dario was already waiting to greet us after we arrived later than planned & provided fabulous welcome & many recommendations for exploring Santa Cruz in addition to food & drink! The room was beautifully decorated, modern and had so many thoughtful details, excellent air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The bed was extremely comfortable, had great pillows, and we slept so well with full black out curtains and blinds. The TV had all available app’s / network connection & the WIFI was excellent. Excellent location, a short walk to some incredible restaurants and the Charles Darwin Research Centre. Priscilla prepared a wonderful breakfast and coffee every morning for us - kindly accommodating our early dive schedule to make sure we didn’t leave hungry! We were provided daily water in our room & toiletries including conditioner! (As we are back packing this was so appreciated!). Additional details such as a small pocket knife / bottle opener in the room really did not go unnoticed - just another way this accommodation has truly thought of the needs of their guests! The bathroom is equipped with a discrete washing line and many places to dry clothes from diving & the beach / including a balcony with hanging station. The room was immaculate, and our room was cleaned every day - even the TV remote was thoughtfully placed in a sanitised case. There was a safe in the room - we and our belongings felt 100% secure from the second we arrived. There is also a fridge in the room.

We stayed at Casa Galapagos for 2 nights and we had an incredible experience. The room is large and spotless clean, the breakfast is fresh and made in front of you. But most of all, Priscilla and Dario are exceptional hosts who are always ready to help you, no matter what your problem is. If we are to go back to the island, we will definitely stay again at Casa Galapagos!

Nothing, everything was exceptional!

We were genuinely shocked by how good Casa Galapagos was. Everything felt brand new, the rooms were spotless, the AC worked perfectly, and there were convenient water dispensers on the floors. The location is on the quieter side of town, which we actually loved, the area is lovely and peaceful with several good restaurants within a 10 min walk. Breakfast was delicious and generous. But what really made our stay exceptional was Priscilla, who went absolutely above and beyond to help us and make sure we had everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
