We enjoyed the well maintained open spaces around the cottage complex, the site having originally been a golf course. The pool was clean and well maintained and accessible. Storage space in the bedrooms was more than adequate. Thanks too to the owners/hosts for the welcoming milk and scones in the fridge. The proximity, a ten minute drive to the beach, whilst being away from the hustle and bustle is a definite bonus. Thanks also to hosts who accommodated the extra day.
It was not an issue but I believe the village clubhouse is currently being refurbished: that would be a nice addition.

it looked like the soap in the bathrooms had been really watered down. It was fine in the kitchen though. It’s only a small thing and we’d definitely visit again 😁
