    Loved this hotel - the room was setup with everything you could ask for, very clean and modern and they've thought of every detail. It's a bit of a different setup with the reception desks on the 7th floor, and the coffee shop across from the main entry, but still very manageable to navigate. I also liked the restaurant next door, Toca Madera - it was great to walk over there in the evenings during happy hour. Everyone was super nice and they definitely went out of their way to make the experience a great one! Would definitely come back!

    My stay at the Thompson was extraordinary. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the fact that they don’t tell you upfront about all the extra charges. I paid over $1k to book the room and an additional $563. They added destination fees that I was unaware of in which the fees were included in the price that I had already paid. They automatically take 20% gratuity if you order room service and even by the pool which I was charged $55 just for 2 small glasses of Pinot Grigio . I would only recommend this hotel if you are a millionaire. They will spring this on you at the last minute. I have to reach out to corporate just to get certain charges resolved other than that everything was.
