Arthur's Roof-Top

Arthurs Unterkunft lag im Herzen von Chengdu, hatte eine gemütliche Einrichtung und war leicht zu finden. Ich konnte viele Orte sogar zu Fuß erreichen. Arthur selbst war ein toller Host und hat mich immer wieder mitgenommen und mir Dinge gezeigt. Es war ein sehr freundschaftliches Verhältnis und wir haben viel gequatscht und gelacht. Man hat immer Tee angeboten bekommen und wurde auch mit auf die tolle Dachterasse genommen.

The only issue is lack of elevator

The host was very friendly and kind, he helped me with my heavy luggage even though I arrived at 3 am! He also invited me to many local events. The neighbourhood was also a very local area. It really was an immersive homestay experience, highly recommended to get a feel of Chengdu life.

there is no lift, so if you have heavy luggage this could be a challenge. Hot water in the shower is inconsistent. Toilet does not flush well, tends to clog easily if you have to flush anything other than liquids. Could be cleaner...

Quirky vibe and super outgoing and engaging host! Had access to kitchen, washer/dryer, and huge TV. A cleaning lady came in weekly to change sheets and clean the apartment. Interesting neighborhood - walking distance to Wuhou Temple.

The stairs. The apartment was a 7th floor walk-up. This may have been in the booking description, but I missed it... Definitely take this into consideration if you have any health or mobility issues.
