Absolutely gorgeous cabin.
Very clean inside the cabin.
Was so cosy and warm inside. It’s well put together and absolutely stunning. The views of the lake are also beautiful.
The jacuzzi needed cleaning it had limescale inside it and a really funky smell which was a shame as everyone else was bang on.
It did say on customer note to take cleaning float out of hottub before getting in but there wasn’t such thing inside it.
Also got banged up early hours in the morning not once but twice with a man knocking on the door.

Luxury was the draw to booking this property outside space fell far short of that, very disappointed.

Property supplied everything we required and was very clean and tidy
The outside of the property ie decking area, decking furniture was dirty, unloved and unkempt.
The decking itself was full of pines which looked like it hadn’t been swept for a while and also the furniture cushions were absolutely soaked wet through and also full of tree debris. If we had wanted to use the furniture to enjoy the views that’s wasn’t available to do so.The cushions on the furniture were not in order just like they had been thrown. Part of this stay was to enjoy the outside space but it was extremely disappointing. Walking/returning from the hot tub in bare feet was not a nice experience with all the debris on the floor.
We enjoyed the hot tub, however the rules left for us to adhere to whilst using the tub was to remove the filter then return once finished, there was no filter in the hot tub to actually remove, in my experience this filter provides a cleaning mechanism for the next time in use. We used the hot tub the following day and it just didn’t feel clean and in areas almost like a gel like effect on the water, felt uncomfortable didn’t stay in it long.
In my experience the client should have access to use cushions etc from a clean dry area and return to keep them dry and clean.
We were only here for a couple of days and the weather was a tad inclement so perhaps the outside area wasn’t needed as much, I have however read other reviews with exactly the same complaint.
Inside the property overall was beautiful and had everything we required but a couple of points I would like to raise.
Far end bedroom had a piece of blue paper sellotaped to the on-suite advising don’t close the door, it’s a bathroom for goodness sake the door needed to be closed !!
The other bedroom had a faulty light switch which again the housekeeping should raise with the owner to rectify because this property is advertised as luxury as it fell far short of that .

Stunning location, really loved the rooms and the hot tub, great view across the lake and brilliant to have your bedrooms patio doors for the morning sun

Amazing! Will be back again
Amazing lodge with clean and modern facilities. Plenty of space with the 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and spacious living/kitchen area. Perfect peaceful settings. There’s a dual carriageway not far but you could hardly hear it. The hot tub was a brilliant extra. Not far from the local town, perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. 100% be back, would recommend

The property was beautiful, very well kept and very homely.
The property itself is lovely, no issues at all. However, the “public path” leading out of the grounds is not well maintained and is overgrown with weeds and nettles making it quite difficult especially with a pram.
