Newly renovated 2 bedroom basement suite

This seem in a pretty good neighbourhood, we feel safe around. The 2 bedrooms work perfectly for us, the kitchen is well equipped, fridge is big, beds are very comfy. Never met the host in person, but very responsive via message, so that's nice.

1. Only parking spaces were possible on the side streets, which can be far from the house entrance, especially if you come back later in the day. Also makes loading and unloading luggage more effort. 2. There is pretty NO sound barrier between the ground floor and this basement unit, there is young kids, probably a family living upstairs, we can hear people talking from above, noise of running, walking, things dropping... whenever we were in the apartment. 3. In one bedroom, the only furniture is just the big comfy bed, no night stand, no chair, absolutely nothing else. So a bit inconvenient. The living room has sofa chairs around with the TV, but no coffee table, side table. The dinning room area is pretty tight for more than 2 people. it works for us, but imagine not too well with bigger party.

The noise from upstairs especially footsteps are really noisy, especially late at night

The location was great for us, the host was quick to reply, the suite was clean.

There was no stove or TV, which were both in the listing so I was surprised by this. There is considerable noise from the residents on the main floor (this is a basement suite) eg. footsteps, talking, etc.
