The Little House, Orford

Very nice little house, well equipped, lovely deck and garden, good position in Orford - near the ferry, pubs etc.

Parking is not good. It's not next to the Little House so you have to carry your bags quite a way. Also the designated parking spot is hard to get out of back onto the road and it's a pain having to close and open the gate. After the first night I parked the car on the road - it was easier. The house was very warm - a fan is definitely needed during a heatwave. The garden furniture was covered in bird poo - it should be cleaned and a cover put over it when not in use. I was on my own, so the bed issue (one side up against the wall) wasn't a problem, nor the toilet feeling like it was almost in the bedroom. If you are going as a couple, I wouldn't come here on your first trip away together!

I loved the property. I thought it was very beautiful. I loved the design of the bed being in a kind of nook. I thought it was very sweet overall. I liked the design.

The toilet being right opposite the bed is a bit invasive. There were many many flies all around the rooms continuously throughout - and I went in January with no windows open. I thought there needed to be another pot.
