Lungaretta Studio Flat II (Trastevere)

Good location for touring, thus inflated prices. Comfy bed, a/c a plus, everything worked. Okay for short stay. Inconvenient to live in for 27 days. Dingy. Shopping, laundry, cleaning, cooking a challenge.

No view, low lighting. Cutlery (not one fork). Shower tiny, slippery, slow drain. Hot plates right next to sink. Inconvenient layout for long stay.

The location of the apartment is fantastic, right in the heart of Trastevere which is full of great restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. Very lively all day. The location is also within walking distance to Campo dei Fiori and from there you can begin to explore pretty much all the major highlights in Rome. The apartment itself is not big but it’s comfortable if you plan to be out most of the day. There is AC but it’s either not powerful enough or maybe not well placed but it takes a long time to cool the apartment. The bathroom was clean and equipped with basics. There was also a kitchenette but we didn’t use it. The check in process was a little confusing, with multiple messages being sent over Booking and WhatsApp from different people. But we managed to get to the apartment with no issues. Be prepared to pay the tourist tax beforehand via PayPal or other electronic means. Davide was kind enough to let us store our bags after check out which was a huge help.

The AC could have been better.

De locatie van dit appartement is fantastisch. Je zit middenin een bruisende wijk vol restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Bijna alle trekpleisters binnen 20 minuten loopafstand. Het appartement klopte volledig met de foto's en beschrijving.

De hygiëne had iets beter gekund. Er hangt een schimmelachtige geur in het appartement en het keukengerei was niet goed afgewassen. Met een open raam en zelf afwassen waren beide problemen wel te verhelpen, maar hier zou meer aandacht in kunnen zitten.

The Location was superb, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Rome

The property was old which is okay but the room seriously needs updating, the windows looked as if there had been mould wiped off, as soon as you walk in you could smell the must / vintage stench, the place was a bit grubby and the most irritating thing was that the walls were PAPER thin. I mean I’m a deep sleeper but you could hear a spoon drop from above, below, beside, we woke up to banging walking and lots of noises that sounded like someone was in our apartment.
