Summary:
Our 1 Bedroom apartment is right in the heart of Surry Hills, ideally located on Crown St. With Sydney easily accessible from at your doorstep, along with countless cafes, boutiques, small bars, pubs and many restaurants.
The apartment itself is in a heritage style building, with numerous large windows allowing light to stream in and soaring high ceilings. With a very simple layout, the open living and dining space are spacious and stylish.
The Space:
Our apartment is on the first floor of this boutique block (no lift access). There are full laundry facilities on site (coin operated), a fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher) and a Queen sized bedroom with built ins. We have ample wind flow from the windows and Dyson fans on site also. The chic styling and decor are all thought out to ensure your comfort during your stay.
The location is superb, with a leafy outlook over one of Sydney's most popular streets for locals and visitors alike. Crown St is a long High Street with everything you could possibly need, from an array of cafes, to local fashion, homewares shops and fantastic lively bars that come alive in the early afternoon and evening.
Surry Hills is ideally located close to the CBD, inner city and the Eastern Suburbs with easily navigable transport options.

The Neighborhood:
Surry HIlls is a must visit for anyone coming to Sydney if you like shopping, eating well, visiting vibrant bars or cafes. The local culture is one of outdoors living, alfresco dining and appreciating the local boutiques. There are many interesting pockets in Surry Hills and even backlanes to visit such as Brett Whiteley's studio. Bourke St is also a more relaxed version of Crown st but beautifully tree lined and a fantastic walkway towards Oxford St or the city!

Buses Trams or Train Surry HIlls has plenty of transport options available closeby
Buses to the city or the beaches (Bondi etc) are a 5-10 min walk away
Trams run from a block away and take you to the CBD or East
Trains also run from Central (10 min walk approx) and take you all over Sydney

Property is lovely and in a fantastic location. However, I had difficulty sleeping as there was no cooling other than a very noisy fan and the flat was very hot. Lack of sleep affected my stay as I was visiting for work and need to be at top performance. I wouldn't recommend staying here on hot nights (it was hot while I was here!) Perfect for autumn and spring and a lovely place otherwise :)

This apartment had everything I needed as a solo traveler and was well located to explore Surry Hills and (via light rail) Sydney. The weather was warm and - although the property had two Dyson fans - the older building in which it occupies the top floor really heated up.

perfect location and ambience, very minor issues noted back in feedback, as good hosts they would expect this to ensure the property quality control continued. Walking distance and public transport to Sydney attractions, abundance of restaurants nearby.
