Garding is the central starting point for beautiful bike rides. The wide sandy beaches of St. Peter-Ording are about a 10-minute drive away (approx. 11 km). A small shopping center and the town center, with restaurants and a musicians’ pub, are easily accessible. Every Tuesday, there is a weekly market featuring regional products at the church and market square. During the summer months, numerous events take place in Garding—such as the “Musikantenbörse” with live music.
