Use this inviting cabin with annex near the lake as a good starting point for outdoor activities.
In a quiet location in Trysil-Knut's mountain world, you will find this cottage with rustic charm and a warm atmosphere. Here you can really switch off, far away from the hustle and bustle. Start your vacation reading on the sofa while the flames crackle in the fireplace, or have a fun games evening at the long dining table. In the morning you can start your hiking tour in the surrounding area. Cross-country ski trails lead right past the hut.
You don't have to go far to find a wealth of activities. Hike to the Skardbekkstupen Foss waterfall and explore the Skorbekklia nature reserve. After a long hike, you can relax on Hammarengstrand and refresh yourself in the Klarälven river. The mountain Skagsvola and the waterfalls "Røfallene" near the lake Engeren are also nice excursion destinations. In summer, Trysil offers a golf course, a climbing park, an adventure park and perfect conditions for cycling. On a hot summer's day you can swim in Gjetsjøen between Østby and Trysil. You can also go canoeing in the area.
