Very polite lovely people! This place is the secret pearl of the Atlas Mountains! Unbelievable village. We fall in love immediately. Waterfalls and beautiful hiking tours for all ages. Pure nature. To reach the village you need at least 2 hours.. small rocky roads and back of course. But it's worth it. Riad Dar Megdaz is the best choice!! The owner and his family are the most polite people ever! They also cook very good for you! 1000xthanks!! We love you!!!

This family run guesthouse is really unique and an amazing experience! The hosts are all very kind and try to make your stay as beautiful and convenient as possible. They are also very happy to share interesting information about their lives and culture in the mountains.
The view from the roof of the house is simply breathtaking and Osama (one of the brothers) even took us on a three hour hike to see a waterfall and walk up to another Berber village. Really the best views of our Morocco trip so far! On our first night, we arrived quite late, but they still cooked us an amazing dinner!
If you are looking for an authentic experience this is definetely the place! The whole time we were there we didn't see any other tourists.

Mohamed et sa famille ont fait preuve d’une hospitalité et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle.
On s’est sentis comme à la maison !
Le gîte est très confortable et tout est bien pensé pour vivre une expérience authentique.
Surtout, n’hésitez pas à faire des excursions avec lui : il nous fait découvrir des petits bijoux insoupçonnés dans cette magnifique région qu’est Megdaz et la vallée de la Tassaout !
Nous reviendrons pour passer encore plus de temps dans ce havre de paix.

Dar Megdaz ist ein wunderschönes Haus, welches Mohammed mit seinen Eltern Abdul und Nora als Gästehaus in Megdaz betreibt. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen sympathisch, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist ein typisches Berberhaus im Hohen Atlas. Megdaz ist ein grösseres malerisches Berberdorf, abgelegen und sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren ausgezeichnet. Ich habe eine eindrückliche Wanderung mit Mohammed unternommen. Er kümmert sich von ganzem Herzen um das Wohl seiner Gäste. Tausend Dank, Dar Megdaz. Es war ein einmaliger und wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Franziska
