Relaxing beachside getaway home

Carolyn was super accomodating and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at Carolyn's beautiful property. Everything was beautiful, Carolyn was very friendly and helpful, it felt very much like staying with friends.

There is nothing we did not like. The garden and outdoor areas were very relaxing. The beach was very close by and even shops were within walking distance.

I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights whilst visiting family in the area. This home stay was absolutely ideal, as it represented excellent value for money, whilst being very comfortable and offering great facilities. Carolyn was the perfect host! She was great at keeping in touch leading up to my stay and gave me a very warm welcome on my arrival, making me instantly feel at home in her house. She has one of those rare personalities that made me feel instantly at ease/at home and within 2 minutes of meeting her, I knew I was going to have a wonderful stay there, which quickly proved to be the case! Guests have access to a large majority of the house and Carolyn does a perfect job of walking that fine line between being friendly, whilst not intruding or imposing on her guest's stay in any way. Despite the fact I was travelling alone on this occasion, this home stay would also be fantastic for couples or a family as well, with the multiple bedrooms. I definitely hope to stay with Carolyn again during future visits to the area and this time I'll be sure to book in for more than just a couple of nights!

The fact I didn't discover this home stay sooner into my trip (my fault!), as I would definitely have stayed longer and used it as more of a base for my travels if I had. At least I know how great it is for next time I'm in the area!
