La casa di Gloria, 100m dal mare, vicino Cefalù

We stayed in La Casa Di Gloria in Castel Di Tusa for 10 days in October. First of all regarding Castel Di Tusa. The town is a fabulous Sicilian village/town, which offers a number of restaurants, bars and is close to the sea. Whilst being fairly close to Cefalu, it’s far more authentic Sicilian and it’s not a tourist area. Access to Cefalu and Santo Stefano by car is easy, plus the train station in the town takes you into Palermo. For the apartment, we have stayed in numerous apartments all over the world and we can clearly say that this is one, (if not the best) apartment that we have ever stayed in. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated; with every utility you could wish for. It didn’t feel like a holiday home, but more like someone’s home. We spent most of the days ‘working’ in the olive groves and it was a real treat to come home to the apartment to both cook and relax. Both Mariella and Gloria are wonderful hosts/owners and were always willing to assist with any queries. Don’t hesitate, book and thank me later.

Leaving....

It was clean and well equipped. Gloria met us at the train station and gave us a lift, so we didn’t have to carry our suitcases to the apartment. It takes 10–12 minutes to reach the apartment on foot. The sea view is wonderful.
