Stayed in wooden cabin. Great value. Electric and lighting. Comfortable mattress.
Perfect for my needs.
Would've liked more food truck options on site and a later check out but really nothing to complain about!

Amazing location right on the beach and next to the estuary, although river does smell at low tides but nothing to detract from our stay. The site staff and locals speak very little English, but were really nice, very friendly and helpful. Reception only open for a limited time, but it was early in the season. Exceptional Butchers, Bakery and Cafe within a couple of minutes walk, along with a couple of little Cafes, all reasonably priced and comparable to local supermarkets. Just ensure that if arriving late in the day, most large shops close by 8pm and all-day Sunday.
Beach is accessible by a path from the back of the site, just 2 minutes walk, and it just beautiful, But watch out for tides and sinking mud.
Accommodation, which for us was a static home, was really clean and more than adequate, water was hot when required and even had a small covered veranda with outdoor table and chairs. No kettle though if you cant live without a brew, but has coffee machine. Kettle only 18Euros in local supermarket if desperate. Microwave, gas hob, fridge/freezer but no oven.
Site has waste disposal for campers, small sleeper pods for cyclists & Hikers, with clean ablution block with washing area, washing machines and dryers. Just take your loo roll with you!!
Nothing. It was just perfect for us. Yes not many people speak English, shops do not open like in the UK, but hey, if that's what you want, go to Blackpool. This is France, the people are lovely, the food is great, the beach is awesome and the scenery is stunning, then there is the History, tons of it, all making it very real how lucky we are!!

This was such a beautiful and new cabin. It was super clean and fresh.
You can rent sheets & towels from the office. You will also need to buy toilet paper as it's not supplied. Wifi is extra cost as well. It is close to the beach and it's very quiet. There is a great restaurant around the corner and some other shops in the small village.
