Muy buena la comida y atención.

Todo estuvo bien.

Administrators, Gladys and Israel, were very helpful navigating through the different activities. Israel was a great guide and very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna found during the hike of the polylepis forests. Besides, she is a great cook.

Can´t think of anything we didn't like.

Espeletia Lodge is an incredible place run by incredible people. I didn't think anything could exceed the beauty and majesty of the location until I met Gladys and her son Daniel who help maintain the location. They are wonderful people and incredibly kind and dedicated to making guests feel comfortable and welcome. They are interesting people in their own right and add to the charm and spirit of the place. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and fit the vibe and atmosphere. You are able to have a small piece of luxury framed within the rugged beauty of the Ecuadorian countryside. They also have bikes that you can ride which I didn't know about but was super happy to discover

There was nothing I didn't like. But visitors should be careful that the altitude of this region of Ecuador is very high, so be aware of your physical conditioning, and it can be chilly, particularly cold on cloudy/rainy days and at night.

I love the wooden cabins an the natural vibe. The guided hike was spectacular!

Everything was great. Staff. Food. Room. I can recommend to add a hairdryer to the bathroom. And maybe a curtain behind the front door for some more isolation from the cold at night.
