We had a brilliant stay at *Serene Burnet Getaway with Buchanan Lake Views* — it genuinely felt like a home from home.
What really stood out was how considerate and well thought-through everything was. The kitchen is fully equipped and not in the “bare minimum” way: there were cooking oils, herbs and spices, sauces, plus tea and coffee, and plenty of proper pots, pans and utensils. Having a washing machine and dryer was also a huge help.
The whole property was very well kept and immaculately clean. Everything worked perfectly — lights, Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning and the air management system — which made the stay effortless and comfortable.
The bathroom supplies were a lovely touch too: makeup towels as well as plenty of normal towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and even dental kits. We bring most of these things anyway, but it’s genuinely reassuring to stay somewhere that has thoughtful backups in place.
A beautifully maintained, comfortable place with great lake views — we’d happily return and would absolutely recommend it.
There wasn't anything not to like here.
But if I must write something then I guess the beds could be bigger. In the area, there a lot of wild deer, so you have to be careful when driving at night,
