Meditandia - Premium Mobile House

Before our trip, I wasn't completely sure what to expect. I had never stayed in a mobile house before, and some of the comments about the local roads made me a bit nervous. Those concerns disappeared as soon as we arrived. The place made a fantastic first impression. The house is modern, stylish, and very well maintained. Everything feels high quality, from the furniture and appliances to the finishing touches throughout the apartment. What we loved most was the terrace. It's spacious, perfectly positioned, and has a beautiful view of the sea and Porat Beach and also has an outdoor kitchen counter next to the dining table. We spent several evenings there watching the sunset over dinner, and it quickly became our favourite spot. The area is quiet and relaxed, which was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen is also very well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals when we didn't feel like eating out. The Nespresso machine was a particularly nice touch and got plenty of use during our stay. I have read previous comments about complaints of road quality. Coming from the marina via Put Malenice, the road is paved almost all the way to the property, so getting there was much easier than expected. Having a dedicated parking space was also very convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay, but there were a couple of things about the local neighborhood that are worth mentioning. The biggest issue is the local road network. Access to the accommodation is easy if you come from the Marina side via Put Malenice, but some of the other roads around Drage are in fairly rough condition. A lot of them are still gravel roads, including some quite steep sections. If you're driving around the area, don't expect the same road quality you might find in larger Croatian seaside towns. One road I'd definitely avoid is Ulica Zdeslava Turića between Porat Beach and Dolaške Beach. It looks like a useful shortcut on the map, but it's very rocky and full of potholes. We tried it once and that was enough. Public facilities at Porat Beach are also quite limited. Apart from the toilets available in the beach bars and cafés, there are only two public toilets, and they're very basic. It's not a deal-breaker, but during a busy summer day it can be a bit inconvenient. None of these points spoiled our holiday, and they certainly aren't a reflection of Meditandia Mobile House, which was excellent. They're simply things that future visitors may want to know before arriving.
