I really liked this apartment! It’s very comfortable, spacious, and furnished with modern furniture, with all the necessary amenities. I believe it has been recently renovated, so everything looks fresh and well maintained. The comfortable beds with high-quality mattresses and two air conditioners ensured a great night’s sleep, even during the hottest nights. The bed linen and pillows were clean and new. Cooking was a pleasure thanks to the modern oven, and it was a lovely touch to have fresh rosemary growing in the garden. The dishwasher and a simple old-fashioned coffee maker were also great bonuses. The view from the balcony is beautiful! I’d also like to mention that the apartment has two toilets, which is very convenient if you’re traveling with a large family—no waiting in line! 😅 The bathroom is stocked with everything you might need, so there’s no need to worry about buying detergent or other essentials. The kitchen is equally well equipped. The garden has a small playground with swings and a trampoline, as well as a great barbecue area with a large dining table (although we didn’t get a chance to use it 🙈). The owner is a very kind and helpful man who speaks a little English, so communicating and arranging everything was easy. Last but not least is the small distance to the city centre with cafes and restaurants and to the supermarkets like Lidl.

I guess I should also mention a few things that were missing. They didn’t affect our overall impression of the apartment, but I’m mentioning them so other guests know what to expect. For example, it would be helpful to have a proper broom in addition to the vacuum cleaner, dustpan and brush, and mop, so guests can easily sweep the floor and the balcony. Another thing we missed was an iron and barbecue utensils. If we had known in advance that they weren’t provided, we would have brought our own. I think it might have been possible to borrow barbecue equipment from the owner for an additional fee, but we didn’t ask. I should also mention that there is no microwave, although this wasn’t a problem for us. Last but not least, some people might find the beach a bit far away, especially if they are looking for a larger beach with plenty of space for a big family. As for us, we had planned to drive to Selce Beach every day, so we have no complaints.
