Waikiki Banyan Ohana Suite

Absolutely beautiful and homey flat with view on the sea. Super comfy beds and sofa, smart TVs, everything you need in the kitchen (and supermarket a short drive away),well stocked toiletries in the bathroom. Amazing selection of beach gear including beach towels, umbrellas, masks, snorkels and flippers. We also loved the Tommy Bahama folding beach chairs. Great location, 3min walking distance to the beach of Waikiki on the south side which is less busy. And great to have parking included!

I thought the washer/ dryer was part of the flat and did not realise it was part of the communal service of the condos and a payable service ($4 per wash/ dry). No clear explanation of what should go in the recycling and where (that would be a good addition to the welcome pack to help be greener). We had a tsunami alert while we were there but there was no info about that on the pack; the flat is in the tsunami area and we were not sure of what the protocols were for information or evacuation. (An emergency NOAA radio would be helpful in such event with information of what frequency to listen to for updates if internet is not available). Luckily the tsunami alert was cancelled but it was quite a worry.
