A comfortable stay in an attractive apartment in a convenient location

Peaceful location outside but close to Wissant and beaches. The apartment had been tastefully modernised with modern furniture, a comfortable bed, and a well appointed bathroom and kitchen. The windows were a generous size and had good views. There was an outside area to sit but not like in the published photo. It felt safe being behind an automatic gate at the drive.

We were expecting a one bedroom house but it was a studio apartment, not like the published photos and with different outside space. The bed, living and kitchen were in one room. The apartment was located just above the sauna and washing machine area on the first floor. We found it difficult to locate the entrance to the apartment - the photos confused us.

Very nice, quiet and cozy place decorated with a lot of taste. The owners are very nice, beds very confy and there is even a charging station for EVs.

Schöne moderne Ausstattung mit integrierten alten Balken in alter Hof-Anlage. Großzügiger Sauna-Bereich mit Terrasse zur alleinigen Benutzung dieses Appartments. Günstige Lage zu Wissant, Wilmereux, Calais.

Neue Putz- und Küchenschwämme, ein weiteres Küchenhandtuch.

Entspannter Aufenthalt in sehr schön modernisierter Wohnung in sehr guter und ruhiger Lage.

Die Gastgeber waren da, obwohl es nicht notwendig war, sehr freundlich und offen. Das Appartment ist ideal für zwei Personen. Vom Ort aus ist die Küste, Wissant mit seinen Geschäften und dem Strand sehr gut per Auto oder sogar zu Fuß erreichbar.

Wirklich gar keine Kritikpunkte.

Gites modernes et accueillant. Nous étions en famille et avec nos amis et avons profité du séjour dans ce petit village calme très proche de Wissant. L'accès au Lidl aux marquises, assez proche du gîte était parfait pour faire nos courses pour nos brunchs et dîners. Merci à Isabelle et Patrick.

Le logement en général : très fonctionnel, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipé (il y avait même le minimum (café, savon, torchons, éponges...). Il est également très bien situé géographiquement, avec beaucoup à découvrir... A recommandé ++++

Les moustiques qui nous ont dévoré... La clim serait un plus pour que le logement soit parfait :)

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. L’emplacement est très calme et ressourçant. Le gîte est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très pratique à vivre. Nous reviendrons.

Zeer mooi gerenoveerd! Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor les 2 caps te ontdekken met de fiets. Pittig, maar prachtig. Gezellig met het terras. Zeer vriendelijke hosts. Alles is aanwezig in de gîte 👌

Badkamer was tip top in orde, maar door de open douche, loopt het water snel overal. Bed op mezzanine is ideaal voor kids, minder als je met 2 koppels bent.

In anderer Gäste-Konstellation gerne wieder. Eine fantastische Unterkunft.

Grundsätzlich müsste die komplette Bewertung HERVORRAGEND lauten. Warum ich das nicht leisten kann, siehe unter "was uns nicht gefallen hat". Hier aber zunächst Lob Lob Lob: Die beiden von unserer großen Familie nebeneinander liegenden angemieteten Häuser Cap Blank-Nez und Cap Gris-Nez sind gerade erst aus einer alten Scheune umgebaut worden. Alles in bester Bauweise: Lehmputz, Echtholz-Böden, edle Keramikfliesen, geschmackvolle Möbel. Es gibt wirklich nichts was das Auge beleidigt, kein blöder Deko-Nippes, statt dessen sichtbare alte Deckenbalken und wunderbar stilvolle Farben. Die Küchen sind so ausgerüstet, daß wir die ganzen 4 Tage sehr gut selbst kochen konnten. Die Betten in den beiden Räumen sind unglaublich bequem. Die Nächte ruhig, man hört nur das Rauschen der hübschen alten Blutpflaume. Der nächtliche Sternenhimmel umwerfend! Zu Fuß kan man vom kleinen Dorf aus direkt loslaufen zu einem Aussichtspunkt auf einem Hügel mit Blick in alle Nachbartäler und aufs Meer. Bei klarem Wetter sieht man die Cliffs of Dover. Mit dem Auto ein Katzensprung ins nette Wissant am Meer. Sicher auch zu Fuß machbar. Meinem Partner und mir hat einfach alles gefallen. Wir beide hatten aber auch das Glück, eins der beiden Zimmer bewohnen zu können. Im Grunde haben die Häuser 10 Punkte verdient.

Leider ein trauriges booking-com-Mißverständnis: Wir sind bei der Angabe von jeweils 2 SchlafZIMMERN von geschlossenen Räumen ausgegangen, also 2 Räume pro Haus, bei zwei Häusern also 4 abgeschlossene Räume. Das wäre für unsere aus zwei Teilen Europas zusammenkommende (Patchwork)-Familie sehr wichtig gewesen. So besteht aber jeweils ein "Zimmer" aus der Empore über der offenen Wohnküche. D.H. es gibt genug Betten, aber die Hälfte der Familie schlief auf der offenen Empore, von Rückzugsmöglichkeit keine Rede. Wir mußten uns sehr gut abstimmen, wer wo wie lange noch zusammensitzt und wer wann wo schlafen gehen möchte. Im Grunde hat das nicht gut geklappt. Bei unseren üblichen oft auch sehr emotionalen Jahrestreffen sind Tolearnz und Nerven ohnehin gefordert, in dieser Raumsituation kamen wir alle an unsere Grenzen bzw. einige Mitglieder konnten nur schlecht schlafen. Das ist sehr sehr schade, denn die Häuser an sich sind einfach fabelhaft. Wer also ein anspruchsloser Schläfer oder Hostel-erfahren ist oder wer als homogene Gruppe reist, kann auch hier großartig klarkommen. Die Heizung sollte man sich vielleicht zunächst erklären lassen. ;-)
