Welcome to “Meeresmelodie”! What makes this apartment so special? You’ll feel it the moment you step inside: the peaceful location near the beach, the breathtaking view of the vast ocean, the pier, and the chalk cliffs, the exceptionally personal decor, and the appreciation for style, enjoyment, and culture. No wonder—after all, the owners often use the apartment themselves as a retreat.
Your temporary home welcomes you on the third floor of “Residenz Falkenberg,” easily accessible by elevator. A total of 134 square meters of usable space (111 sqm of living space) is spread across two levels.
From the entryway with the coat closet, you enter the living room. You’ll be greeted by a 38-square-meter, light-filled room with solid oak floors, two balconies, fine oak furniture, a cozy sofa, two armchairs, a TV, and an extensive library. It’s the perfect place to relax and reflect on your day’s adventures.
While the small balconies facing the sea offer beautiful views of the Baltic Sea, the beech-covered high cliffs, and the adjacent Granitz forest as the seasons change, on the covered main balcony, you can enjoy the sun from sunrise over the sea until around 3 p.m. And even after that, you can continue to enjoy the sun from the upper balcony.
The main beach, with its pier and adjacent sections for naturists and dog owners, is about a 3-minute walk away. If you’d rather not use the staircase known as the “Himmelsleiter” (Sky Ladder) or one of the two sloped beach access paths, you can take the free elevator. It doesn’t get any more convenient than this.
The separate kitchen-living area offers everything you need to cook for yourself when you’re not out and about on the island of Rügen. In addition to a 4-zone ceramic cooktop with an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a dishwasher, a filter coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster, there are, of course, plenty of pots, pans, and dishes.
This level also features one of the apartment’s two bathrooms, equipped with a bathtub, shower/toilet, and a hair dryer.
A few steps up, the “Meeresmelodie” surprises you with a spacious living/bedroom featuring a panoramic window with a sea view and a balcony, a wonderfully comfortable oak double bed (180x200 cm), a leather couch with two comfortable recliners, light oak floorboards, a large flat-screen TV with free Sky channels, and a Blu-ray/DVD player. Right next door is the second bedroom with a large double bed (180x200 cm) as well as the second bathroom with a shower/toilet, washing machine, and dryer. Ironing supplies are also available.
