The house itself is beautiful. It’s a newer construction so it’s modern with a minimalistic style that I really loved. Our family was very comfortable during our week long stay. Given that it’s newer, it hasn’t accumulated a large number of kitchen accessories that you often find convenient in a vacation rental - just the basics. Now, the real problem I had was with Vacasa. I booked this property because the listing led me to believe that there was beach access as the listing stated “the HOA offers a private beach”. When I texted the agent to determine where we access the beach, I was told there was no access and they were escalating this issue. 3 days later I still hadn’t received a call or message back so I called the customer service number and explained the issue. The rep proceeded to tell me “this is not a problem” which was not the right response for customer service. I eventually spoke to the manager who was going to connect me to the local team. Ten days post my trip and I’m still waiting. Interestingly the property description has been changed - which seems like an admission of guilt.
