About this apartment rental
Embrace simplicity in this tranquil and well-located place. Rustic and cozy decor in Ondina/Garibaldi. NEAR UFBA (approximately 650m from Gate 1).
Private, stylish, and cozy, a mini bedroom and living room. A space just for you. Located on the first floor of a house in a private gated community in Ondina/Garibaldi. A very quiet area with 24-hour security. Safety and tranquility for you. A great location.
No air conditioning. Basic Wi-Fi. No visitors allowed.
The apartment entrance is on the first floor, in the area behind the garage (which is in front of the house).
Upon entering the apartment, you'll find a small living room/kitchen/laundry area. In the living room area, right at the entrance, there's a table with two chairs, a bench/sofa, and a TV. Next, you'll find the kitchen area with two sinks (kitchen/laundry), a two-burner induction cooktop, a mini-fridge, a microwave, pots, pans, knives and basic kitchen utensils, an iron, and a clothesline. This area has a large window with a beautiful view of the green area of Ondina.
Next to the kitchen area you will find the door to the bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed, an open wardrobe, and a fan. The room is well-lit with skylights (no curtains). The double bed is a built-in, cave-style bed with walls on three sides; we do not recommend it for people taller than 1.80m, as the bed space is exactly the size of a double mattress (1.90m long). The mattress is D33 foam. The room has a fan, but NO AIR CONDITIONING.
After the bedroom, there is a full bathroom (electric shower).
- Basic Wi-Fi: Usually reaches speeds of 5-20Mbps in the apartment. It typically works well for basic use and watching movies on Netflix and YouTube. It's not ideal for video calls or working from home. It's a shared internet connection, not a dedicated one. We do not recommend it for working from home. We do not guarantee signal quality.
- Bed linens and towels: We provide bed linens and towels for guests upon arrival. We can provide new linens if needed, but they are not included in the cleaning fee and have an additional cost.
- Parking: We have 4 parking spaces available for guests/residents; spaces are rotating, we do not have exclusive spaces for apartments. If you cannot find a space in the parking lot, it is very easy to find one on the street (in front of or near the house). The garage door is not automatic, and being made of iron and wood, it is a bit heavy.
- Starter Kit: We provide an initial supply of some items for guests upon arrival, but we do not replenish these items. Our kit includes personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and kitchen items.
- Internet: Our internet connection is 35 Mbps, distributed to the apartments in the house via a Mesh Wi-Fi system. It's a shared internet connection; only a basic internet speed reaches the apartment.
- Children and Babies: We can accommodate children and babies, but we do not have safety nets on the windows and balconies, nor any other items related to child and baby safety. We do not provide cribs or beds for babies.
- We have active security cameras recording in the stairwells, hallways, and outdoor areas (gate, garage, backyard, balcony).
Remember that you are staying in a home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to act as quickly as possible.
Our 4-story house, built in the 1980s, has been lovingly transformed into small apartments, always maintaining the rustic comfort and original features of the house. Two floors above street level are divided into 6 apartments for vacation rentals, and two floors below street level. We love this rustic style; hardwood and stone were used abundantly in the construction. The design emphasizes natural and robust beauty, encompassing textures inspired by nature, simple and earthy colors, and finally, an unpretentious organic warmth. ... The green area of the Salvador Zoo is practically behind the house, so we have a lot of greenery around us, which makes our stay very pleasant. With all this greenery, we sometimes receive unexpected visitors, some desirable, others not so much. We've seen everything here over the more than 30 years we've lived
