About this villa rental
The villa Mar in Playa Blanca is the perfect accommodation for an stress-free holiday with your loved ones. The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 8 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a TV, air conditioning as well as a washing machine. On top of that, a table tennis table and a pool table are also provided for your enjoyment. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. The property has an exterior staircase that connects the main floor with the lower floor.
This villa offers a private outdoor area with a pool (that can be heated for an extra fee), garden, terrace, balcony, and barbecue. Guests also have access to a shared outdoor area with a covered terrace. Additionally, the villa features a private heated indoor pool.
The property is located close to the beach.
2 parking spaces are available on the property and free parking is available on the street.
A maximum of 2 pets are allowed.
It is strictly prohibited to throw a party and/or bachelor/ette parties on the property. In case a party is detected, the rental contract will be terminated for violating the house rules.

Check-in was fine although agent didn't speak any English. I was confused though as the property as not the one in the photos - it was behind the one I thought I'd booked.Plenty of space, fairly well appointed, smart TV was huge and, importantly for me as I was working from the villa, the internet was fast and stable.The pool maintenance crew came every other day in the first two weeks but turned off the heating once, leaving the water just a little chilly for a couple of days, and then didn't show for the last 5 days of my stay. The cleaners only came once which was unanticipated. There are a few rough edges, like the lock on the back door (secured by the type of bolt you find on bathroom doors), the washing machine laundered everything on hot regardless of the setting chosen, and the decorating was slapdash. It's a 4 out of 5 score for me.Would I book again? Not this one, although I'd consider the company again.

Playa Blanca is a lovely area for families and this property worked well for us. The pictures of the property were a little dated, but the property was still nice and functional. The two levels are technically two separate units which was ok for us as we have teenagers but may not be suitable for people with younger children. The nearest supermarket was a 14 minute walk away and the beachfront/restaurants etc were about 20/25 minutes walk away, so it was close enough to everything but far enough away to get some peace and quiet! We had a couple of issues at the start of the holiday, but the host’s employee was very helpful and fixed both of them. The pool was a good size for a family of 4 and we had been left a number of towels to use. We were left with washing up liquid/tea towels and dishwasher tabs but you’ll need to pick up bin bags on your first supermarket shop. The drains in the second bathroom upstairs was rather smelly but we grabbed a bottle of bleach and air freshener and just kept the door shut! If there were more than 4 of us it could have been a little more difficult but we made it work. Overall we had a wonderful holiday in a lovely area and the villa was lovely and just what we needed for a relaxing holiday.
