Hocking Hills - A sprawling state park known for it's 25 miles of hiking trails, amazing rock formations and waterfalls, and state forest.
Wayne National Forest - The only national forest in Ohio covering a quarter million acres of Appalachian foothills. Activities include hiking, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, climbing, and horse riding. Check their website for permission and regulation information.

The house was amazing and the host was wonderful about responding !! The house was spotless with great linens, blankets and towels!!It was a perfect way to stay in Athens and attend our son’s football game! We can’t wait to come back!!!!
