About this house rental
Escape to the Northwoods at Osprey Cabin Getaway, a stunning custom-built log home set on 40 private acres with breathtaking views of Osprey Lake. This spacious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath retreat offers over 4,300 sq ft of beautifully crafted living space and comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. With its open layout, warm wood interior, and multiple levels overlooking the lake, this home is perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying everything the Northwoods has to offer.
The main level features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area centered around a cozy fireplace and large windows with lake views. The fully equipped kitchen includes all basic cookware, utensils, and a coffee maker for easy meal prep. The master bedroom is located on this level and includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and tub, along with direct outdoor access. A half bath is also conveniently located on the main floor.
Upstairs, you’ll find a bedroom with a private balcony and an open loft space that includes seating, a flat screen TV, and two full-size bunk beds—perfect for kids or additional guests. There is also a full bathroom on this level with a tub/shower combo.
The lower-level walkout is designed for gathering and entertainment, featuring a second living room with a fireplace, flat screen TV, and beautiful lake views. A rustic wet bar adds to the space, making it perfect for evening hangouts. This level also includes two additional bedrooms (one with outdoor access), a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and a laundry room for guest use.
Sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms with queen beds, two bedrooms with double beds, and a loft area with a bunk bed.
Step outside and enjoy everything lake life has to offer. The home includes a private dock on Osprey Lake, and a pontoon is available to rent as an add-on during your stay. The property features a large yard with plenty of outdoor seating and a BBQ grill for cookouts. There is a moderate slope from the home down to the lake.

Need a new grill. Was very unsatisfactory. Water pressure in bathrooms not good. Body sprays in main shower did not work. No towel hooks in any bathrooms. No window coverings on any windows, we had two babies and needed dark rooms. Walk way out or boat landing could use some work.

The location of the house is on a small private lake about 15 from Hayward. Great location to pop into town and and enjoy the lumberjack show and some good food. We had the pontoon boat and enjoyed tooling around the lake. Caught enough blue gill to enjoy a fry the last night.Bedroom /bath situation was perfect for 2 families and our mom to each have a floor and bath. Plenty of chairs/seating for our group of 8.Kitchen was well stocked and yard was a major plus with flat space for the kids to kick a ball.Pictures were accurate. Recommend for a large intergenerational group for sure!
