The Oasis Retreat is a newly remodeled South Haven home with a private heated pool, hot tub, and resort-style backyard just 4 blocks from downtown dining, shops, coffee, ice cream, and entertainment. It gives families and groups an easy home base near downtown, Lake Michigan beaches, the marina, trails, lighthouse, farmers market, seasonal ice rink, and local events.
The backyard is the main attraction. Spend summer days by the heated pool, relax in the hot tub, cook at the grill or pizza oven, watch games from the outdoor bar, play ping pong, rinse off in the outdoor shower, or gather by the fire pit at night. The spacious private yard, detached guest apartment space, seasonal outdoor bathroom, and exterior Ring at entry add flexibility and convenience for group stays.

Hot tub was great! Host was very proactive with communication and the kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of appliances, dishes, and utensils.

Lovely property. My sisters trip was perfect. Close to the downtown area. The home was very very clean. It had all the amenities you would need. In the summer months the swimming pool outdoor bar and hot tub would be so nice to be able to use. Would come again for sure. The host was the most responsive of any I have ever had. And I’ve traveled a lot, and stayed in many rental homes.

The home was in a nice location from downtown South Haven. It was advertised as a 6 bedroom home, but really only had 3 bedrooms in the main house. In one bedroom there was a sofa bed which the owner said counted as another bedroom. A fifth bedroom was actually a small loft which had no storage for clothes and was so small only a child could use it. The sixth bedroom was detached from the house as a separate stand alone room! We could not use it during our stay because the plumbing was not working in that room. We were not advised of that until we arrived for our stay.There was a nice pool, hot tube, fire pit and ping pong table outside for our use! There was also an outdoor covered bar near the pool, which we did not use because of lack of cleanliness. There was also a barbeque grill on the homes wrap around deck which when used caught fired because of a build up of grease which had not be disposed of or cleaned. The grill was ruined but the owner did replace it the next day.Silverware, dish ware, pots and pans all could have been cleaner as we found some that clearly had not gone through a dishwashing process.This rental has good potential but accurate descriptions, upkeep and cleanliness must be addressed.
