MARZA RESIDENCE (ALZAVOLA) - SYRACUSE AREA
Alzavola is a beautiful and modern style villa, located in a wonderful sea front position, in a popular seaside resort. Close by, you find one of Sicily’s most beautiful sandy beaches, the Nature Reserve of Vendicari, and plenty of restaurants in the nearby area. The baroque towns of Syracuse, Ragusa and Noto are just a short driving distance away.
Surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, with extensive covered terraces and sea views, villa Alzavola, recently built and with comfortable rooms, develops over one floor only.
Inside, we find the living/kitchen area with large doors that open onto the terrace and the modern kitchen with table and chairs and equipped with built in appliances. The sleeping area consists of two bright double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms with shower, and a third bedroom with double sofa bed. There is one separate bathroom with shower.
Outside, there is a private swimming pool (3 x 2m; 1.2m deep). On the roof, we find a private Jacuzzi (2x2m; 0.7m deep) with covered terrace and sun lounges from where you can enjoy the stunning sea views. Both the pool and the Jacuzzi are open all year round and The Jacuzzi can be heated (electrically) on request. The villa offers large terraces, equipped with table and chairs and ideal for an al-fresco dinner in the evening.

So many wonderful memories during our stay. The property is great. It's close to the beach, walking distance with private pergolas, and has pool and jacuzzi. The decorations were nice and great for rentals. Very central spot to get away to s8ghtsee some towns like Modica, Noto, Syracuse, Marzamemi, Izpica, and pachino. Reitani, the town where the villa is, seems to a local tourist town. There were no tourists from other areas around the world that we ran into. And very few spoke English. But I spoke Spanish, so it worked out.
I was slightly disappointed finding the property. The pictures on the listing are accurate but the address is incorrect. And to add, they are doing construction so if you are not given specific details, it'll be hard to find the property. Luckily we were close. I never received a welcome email as I did on another property we rented. I even sent a message 1 week prior but no response. Once we found the property, 2 hours later, using global coordinates, The check in person was super nice. The property really made up for the details that were missing, like the address.
I highly recommend this property. But be sure you get global coordinates first and be sure you can make a call when you arrive.
