Great place for family to stay nearby for our daughters graduation

Terrific place to stay, even for two families! My favorite room was the converted garage into a bedroom; It was very nicely done, it was comfortable and warm, even in January when I stayed. The other bedrooms were also immaculate, and beds very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros:I appreciated that the space had four bedrooms, and was well located in San Jose for a nearby graduation ceremony. 3 of the bedrooms were nice.Cons:One of the bedrooms is a converted garage & was not renovated well. The shower leaks and there is an open hole near the shower stall. There are no handrails coming out of the bathroom which is two large steps up from the living space. We were fine but by seems a little unsafe. There’s a door leading to the side yard in this room as well. It is only suitable for adults.The kitchen did not have many basics for cooking (including no Tupperware or foil /plastic bags to save food) and they didn’t have extra garbage bags. It was a fine place but didn’t feel like it was reasonably priced given the issues.

Booked for 5 adults but 2 canceled. I thought I was going to be baking for a baby shower and this kitchen appeared to have what I needed. Pros: bedrooms are adequate size with good closets. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen appliances were great. There were roasting pans and baking sheets and plenty of cooking utensils. No mixer or blender. Good parking. The location was excellent as far as easy access to shopping and the freeway. Cons: there were only 6 drinking glasses and they had a blue coating that flaked off when washing/ drinking. There were a few wine glasses that we used until we got plastic cups. There were no storage containers for leftovers. No measuring cups or pitcher to pour water in the coffee maker. The only staples in the kitchen was salt and pepper, coffee supplies. Only 1 tv. Stained rug and stool in LR. No drawers in the bedrooms. The two en-suite bathrooms are very tight and have no counter space. The 3 of us used the main bathroom which had a nice deep tub but could use a grab bar for safety. Communication with the host was excellent. Allison was quick to respond when we had an issue with the water heater. However, the very old water heater was leaking and the pilot went out. There was standing water in the pan, on the floor, and severely corroded pipes. The water had been there awhile as there were gnats in the utility closet. It needs to be replaced immediately. There is a small yard but no furniture to sit on.

We had 5 women in their 80s who gathered to enjoy Bay Area excursions. The location provided enough bedrooms and easy proximity to freeways and the amenities we needed. One suggestion: leave instructions on how to work the TV!

We were 5 adults and 2 kids. House was great, clean and functional. Anything we needed was no more than a quick message away.

This property was PERFECT! Not only did we enjoy our stay, our host was so kind, accommodating, and made sure our stay was so pleasant. I will definitely be staying again!!
