Perched on 30 acres of land, The Blue Bayou provides a refreshing country atmosphere, pure privacy, and a large yard for outdoor fun! Under the Texas sun, glide across the bayou on the provided kayaks, host delicious cookouts with the help of the wood barbecue, and enjoy scenic views from the home's two porches.

You'll love being minutes to Surfside Beach and roughly 35 minutes from Galveston. Houston's Minute Maid Park (where the Astros play) and the George R Brown Convention Center (where you can see boat shows) are approximately 45 minutes away. When you want to explore more of Danbury and beyond, check out Crocodile Encounter (20 minutes away), Wilderness Golf Course (19 minutes away), Oyster Creek Municipal Park (14 minutes away), and the surrounding town's restaurants, shops, and other local amusements.

Back at your stay, you will immediately feel at home from the moment you walk inside. Composed of warm wood flooring, soft furnishings, and farmhouse-inspired decorations, The Blue Bayou exudes an inviting ambiance. The living room's ample seating and large smart TV are ideal for evening movie viewings. Whereas the full kitchen boasts a suite of stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a large bay window. Down the hallway, you'll discover a separate laundry room, two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom.

Off the other hallway, you'll find the primary en suite bedroom, complete with an expansive walk-in closet, extra large vanity, and walk-in shower. Ensuring everyone's comfort, each of the rooms has a private TV, soft linens, and central air-conditioning.

Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.

Security camera details: There are cameras at the home. The cameras face the driveway and the backyard. There are no cameras located inside the home or facing towards the inside of the home.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
