Pets:
We welcome up to 3 dogs with a pet fee of $75 per dog. Please keep dogs off furniture and beds at all times. If you leave the property, ensure dogs are crated for their safety and the protection of the home. Always keep dogs on a leash and supervised while outdoors.
Trash Disposal:
Please separate your trash as follows:
• Black Cart: Household trash, food waste, food containers, bagged animal waste, lightweight plastics, Styrofoam, and clothing.
• Blue Cart: Flattened cardboard, paper products, newspapers, magazines, aluminum, tin, lightweight metals, glass bottles, jars, and cartons.
• Not Accepted (Curbside): Electronics, batteries, dirt, rock, construction debris, and hazardous waste.
All trash must be bagged and taken to a designated disposal site:
• Clean Bear Site #1: 41970 Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
• Clean Bear Site #2: 39690 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
Trash left behind will incur a $65 fee per bag.
Fireplace:
Firewood is not provided. Firewood bundles can be purchased at nearby convenience stores. Please ensure the chain link guard rail is closed after lighting the fireplace. Adjust the ring flute to the right as needed for proper use. Do not leave the fire unattended.
Thermostat:
Set the thermostat to your desired temperature during your stay and return it to 65° before check-out.
Kitchen Cleanup:
The kitchen must be cleaned after use. Dishes should be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher. Failure to clean up will result in an additional $100 cleaning fee.
BBQ:
After using the grill, clean the surface and turn off the propane tank valve. Neglecting to clean or refill propane will result in a $100 fee.
Spa (if applicable):
Please rinse off before entering the spa to prevent oil, makeup, or dirt buildup. Return the temperature to 95° after use. If water becomes murky, a dump and fill service is required, incurring a $175 fee. Ensure the spa cover is sealed and clipped tightly after use.
Snow Removal:
Shovels and salt are provided at the property for guest use. Snowplow services will be provided during or after 3” of snow accumulation. Please exercise caution when clearing snow and ice.

Place was great, my only complaint is, there was no lock on the downstairs bathroom door.

The listing was exactly as described—quaint, quiet, and cozy. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, with no noise or distractions. The property has been recently renovated and is very clean and accommodating. We loved the peaceful atmosphere. There’s a patio in the backyard with a barbecue pit and a jacuzzi. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi this time, we’re already planning to return and will definitely enjoy it then. The location is convenient too—only about 12 minutes from downtown Big Bear Lake, with a Stater Bros. nearby, as well as Vons, Starbucks, McDonald’s, and other spots. Overall, a very relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

For the amount of money guests pay to stay here , a bundle of firewood should be included at no charge.

Only given key to one door in back of house and had to climb up on a deck to get back there. Other 2 doors lock from inside so you always have to leave by climbing down off the deck. Unsafe!! They could’ve installed a keypad or given access to the side door near the driveway. There was NO ladder or stool provided for hot tub, so we weren’t able to use it - was too high. AC is ONLY in attic bedroom- not the whole house. You have to take your trash to the landfill when you leave, unable to use outside bins. I would not stay with this host company again.
