Welcome to our blue-tiful Blue Llama vacation rental located at the heart of Nelson County in Nellysford, Virginia. Inspired by the color of of the house, the Blue Ridge mountains and our neighbors llamas, the Blue Llama is a fun and modern home situated in a beautiful rural setting.
Our newly built home is the perfect place to escape to the mountains and enjoy a relaxing getaway with family or friends. With its rustic charm, colorful interior and stunning natural surroundings, this property is sure to enchant and delight guests.
The interior of the house is bright and welcoming, with comfortable furnishings and plenty of open spaces to congregate and relax. The living room features a plush sofa and 65" TV and is open to our fully equipped chef-kitchen (equipped with 3 ovens). This part of the home is a perfect place to lounge around after a long day of hiking, skiing at Wintergreen Resort, or brewery hoping along the Brew Ridge Trail.
Outside, the property is surrounded by majestic mountain views and rolling hills. Take a walk around the property and explore the nearby woods, or simply sit back and relax on one of the decks and soak up the tranquil beauty of the surrounding landscape. The property also features a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars.
Located just minutes away from some of the best hiking trails in the area, this vacation rental is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. Great family home that is pet-friendly. Everything went smoothly from correspondence with the host before our stay to check-in and check-ups during our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect location to go skiing in Wintergreen and visit the many breweries and wineries in the area. I would highly recommend a couple of days at The Blue Liama.

What a great spot!!! The house was in a good location, it was so charming and unique, very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant. Everything was awesome!!

The host for Blue Llama was amazing! He answered all of my questions quickly and was very helpful. Blue Llana had everything that we could ever need to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. The dining room table was large enough to seat all of our family and we had lots of fun conversations around it.During the day we had a great time exploring the different trails that were near Blue Llama. At night we spent lots of hours around the fire pit laughing and enjoying s’mores! I would highly recommend Blue Llama for anyone who wants to have all of the amenities,lots of fun, and a great place to make wonderful memories!

This spacious mountain getaway was a fantastic place to stay for my wife's birthday. It's right in the middle of all the Nellysford brewerys. The amenities are great and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. 5/5 stars would definitely stay here again!
