About this castle / palace rental

Henri de Tilly was the Castel's first owner, in 1190. In 1790, Jean d'Orceau de Fontette, Magistrate, Chancellor, Keeper of the Seals and Head of Counsel to King Louis XVI's brother, bought the Castel and became Marquis. He invented Teurgoule, the forerunner of rice pudding.

The fully restored Castel de Tilly-sur-Seulles lends itself perfectly to family stays. It boasts exceptional volumes in an authentic setting with top-of-the-range modern comforts.
