Private Single Level Standalone House Large Lot - 3 Bedrooms

The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean! The hosts were very kind and quickly responded to any messages.

Location was great! -The house was very clean! -For a pet friendly house, it seemed very clean and no pet odors were evident. The house was well odorized! -Most of the appliances were fairly new and worked very well. -Security system was good on the front door. -The thermostat seemed new. -The house seemed recently renovated, fresh paint, new seeming kitchen and bathroom sinks, shower fixtures. -The air conditioning worked beey well! -The back yard accommodated our two dogs very well and was easy to clean up afterwards. -The host responded to messages very promptly regardless of the time sent (I didn’t expect a response to a non urgent 11:30 pm message, the host is very prompt)

We had to provide our own wash cloths to wash our faces and bathe. We had Walmart Mainstay regular sized bath towels and had to use two for hand towels. That didn’t work well, with them staying wet from showering and shampooing. I found an over the door hanger to hang one from, there were no towels racks/hooks in the bathroom. The kitchen was lacking in cookware. Two old skillets had Teflon coating torn up, one way too badly to use. I took photos. The regular pots also were torn up non stick coating. We. We were able to use a large spaghetti pot like a skillet. The only spatula was flimsy metal (for Teflon coated pans?). There is no can opener except a bottle opener. No casseroles or bakeware were provided for oven baking or microwave use except a cookie sheet, but at least that was useful for heating premade meals on. We brought in a casserole that would double for stove top, oven and microwave use. The dining room folding utility table was functional and table cloth over it was clean and not torn. The folding metal chairs provided for kitchen had no cushions and were difficult for some seating. The deck furniture mentioned in the ad consisted of a torn up wicker loveseat size chair. We brought metal chairs in and out as needed. A dog door into a “do not enter” shed was open and only partially covered by the recycle can. We didn’t notice it until a dog went in. Agh. We placed a piece of particle board over it and repositioned the can. House heat is by two electric baseboards, with the one in the kitchen turned off. If it’s a cold night and you sleep with the door closed, you will be cold. We wore coats two mornings in the kitchen. TV remotes did not work (we downloaded Roku controller to phones) and internet was unstable and out intermittently. The tap water was clear and colorless but had a strong taste. I thought maybe that would clear up with fresh flush by water usage (showers, washer, etc.) but it did not. The dogs even avoided it.
