Simroseate

The property was a lovely little hide away 10 mins drive from Agonda beach. The wildlife around the villa was a pleasure to see. Staff were very helpful organising shuttles to the beach and day trips Food was excellent and all cooked fresh to order Watching sunset from the jacuzzi was gorgeous

Electricity trips a lot! ( short periods only though) No sunny area to sunbathe, I believe they are due to extend the site, this would make a really good addition and give residents a chance to interact a bit

The privacy

The lack of facilities to protect against mosquitoes. The HIT given for the room didn’t work and so I had to endure bugs during the evening which was not ideal with a young child. The pool was freezing cold and so we barely got use out of it. As the placement of the pool is in the shade - the water doesn’t warm up in the sun. When asked, the staff said it’s “medium temperature” which was not the case as after 2-3 minutes my daughter’s lips were blue and she was shivering.

We stayed at Simroseate Hotel in Goa for nine nights over Boxing Day through New Year’s, and it was absolutely perfect. We didn't want to leave! I have been to Goa many times and this by far my favourite hotel. Our room was so amazing - huge and super comfortable, with a Jacuzzi!! And having our own private pool and outdoor shower was such an enormous and luxurious treat! The location was spot on, away from the busy beach front hotels and a great jumping off point to all the amazing beaches the area has to offer. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, they really made our stay - we loved every minute and will definitely be back!
