The location is unbeatable. The property is from the traditional Victoria style flats and it is a stone throw from the Big Ben and London Eye. The area is so quiet because it is residential and that is a huge bonus not to hear sirens in a busy huge metropolis like London
I can only mention that since it is central London all the buildings there are older so people staying in the center should keep it in mind, but the property itself is well maintained.

Ich hatte plötzlich keinen Internetzugriff. Christian, der Wohnungsbesitzer, hatte mir einen Tag vorher eine Mail geschickt. Beigefügt war ein Foto wo ich die Schlüsselbox finde und mein Zimmer. Weil ich keinen Zugriff hatte, versuche ich anzurufen - Fehlanzeige. Ein Mitbewohner des Hauses gestattete mir mit seinem Handy Christian anzurufen. 5 Minuten später war er da. Christian ist sehr nett. Am Abend vor meiner Abreise haben wir uns ausgiebig unterhalten.
Es ist wirklich in der Nähe von Big Ben.
Die Hitzewelle über London hat mein Zimmer zur Sauna gemacht. In den 6 Tagen habe ich kaum geschlafen. Falls ich erneut London besuche, habe ich mit Christian vereinbart, dass ich ein Zimmer zur Nordseite erhalte.

Had a pleasant time staying at Gibson road in Lambeth. Christian is a good host. Had a good room was happy with the facilities that were available. The area is good . There is a supermarket near by also a small shop area upfront .
The bus stops are not that far away aether.
Finding the location on the first day in a different country. Other than that nothing.

Pleasant host.
There was a heatwave during my stay, although there was a fan, very little ventilation, window not able to be fully opened. Single bed, no TV. Faulty lock, difficult to get in the room then unable to lock from the inside. Bathroom upstairs for shower, toilet on ground floor. 25 min walk to Westminster bridge.
