Tranquil Retreat Brisbane North

The house was very comfortable for our family of 5. Master bedroom had the bonus of a port a cot which was fantastic when our 11month old granddaughter came to visit & she needed her day time nap. Kitchen was well stocked with basic starter items ie: oil, glad wrap, foil, salt n pepper, coffee pods, hot chocolate, tea, sugar, dishwasher tabs, detergent, rubbish bags etc. location was great and only a short drive to supermarkets and North Lakes shopping precinct and the Bruce Highway.

Cleaners let the property owner down, old food items found in lounge cushions and under beds. Our 11month old granddaughters clothes were black after 10 minutes of crawling around on the tiled floor. There was not enough essential utensils in the kitchen: IE there was no potato masher but we were able to make do, no clothes rack to hang items inside during the rain, or dryer, furniture was great but in our opinion too large for the size of the house. Which was difficult when we had so many people trying to move around the space - not a bad thing, just our opinion.needs something to stop lounges from moving on the tiles whenever someone sits down. We were constantly worried the lounge would go through the glass doors. Unable to get car in the garage due to items stored in garage. Could do with larger coffee ‘mugs’.. over all though, we loved our stay and were very happy with the location and communication with the hosts was brilliant.

All of it, the four rooms were able to cater for our whole family which made our stay. A very nice well maintained home, a home away from home.

A great property for a family, with plenty of space in a great location.

Very minor points, but more coat hangers and a few more kitchen basic items for those wanting to cook.

one of the dining chairs had a wobbly leg and there was no tea towels to wipe the plates etc.
