It was a very relaxing weekend!

It was in a beautiful location. We loved listening to the ocean waves!

Unfortunately our fireplace was not working and needed a part that had to be ordered but staff made sure to put us in another unit with a working fireplace.

Gorgeous location. Beautiful views. Lovely temperature.

Gave us 3 menus for the restaurant when we checked in. The dinner menu turned out to be the wrong one. It was all pizzas. We cancelled our reservations, and then we got an email telling us we might like a DIFFERENT restaurant 4.5 miles away. So we drove a VERY dangerous road to that restaurant in the dark, only to find that it had the SAME menu that we had been given and protrayed as the hotel's restaurant. Yikes. The heater in the bathroom was "out of order", making any shower a test of endurance!!! VERY cold room!! Finally, after checking out we received another email telling us we would be charged $50 for Not returning room keys. We had left the keys in a prominent spot on the table in the room. Yikes. They apparently found the keys, as we didn't get charged after all. We have officially taken this hotel off of our "places to stay" list. Sad, because we have stayed there several times. NO MORE.

Some deep cleaning and maintenance is what this place deserves

The breakfast was magnificent. The view was outstanding, with flowers close to the building that attracted hummingbirds. The waiter was just lovely and very efficient

We stayed one week later and were housed in a different cabin. This cabin was dirty, with large carpet stains. I complained to the host, but she did not provide us any compensation even though she agreed with us.

Great view. Clean room

No cell service, terrible WiFi , no tv, no fan in bathroom, heater didn’t work in bathroom, wonky fireplace as only heating source. all of that for $300+ a night!

Beautiful View, Rooms Need Work!

The location is stunning. It makes you forget everything else. Waking up to that view overlooking the ocean is worth it. Beautiful surroundings, close to a small market and Mendocino.

We stayed in room 1, the bay room. The AC was broken, and the room was quite old and worn out. The showerhead was rusty and had very low water pressure. The Wi-Fi was really weak, and without data, it made you feel very disconnected (which can be good, but it was unexpected).

Overpriced dated facility with insane view

The view and breakfast/breakfast staff were great. Maintenance was super kind and helpful. Staff tried to assist but the dinner was very bad and the facilities are very old so things are falling apart and don't work.

Facilities are very old for the price per night. It says Mendocino but its in Albion about a 15 minute drive from Mendocino. I love when things are quaint but the tub didn't work and dripped all night because it was super dated and old and the fireplace didn't work either.

The noise of traffic was terrible!! It's very close to the highway. Also, cost is too high for the value.

Lovely time at SCP Mendocino Coast Lodge

Loved the location, privacy of the rooms and the amazing views. The restaurant at the lodge was awesome too! We had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend this along with the stay
